Jean L. Fourcroy, Founding Member of SWIU, 1930 – 2016

On October 12, 2016, Dr. Jean L. Fourcroy died peacefully in the warm environment of a dementia care facility in Sykesville, Maryland, where she had spent the last year well cared for and visited almost daily by her husband. The SWIU board has received this remembrance of Dr. Fourcroy from her family which details her incredible career and life, and we wish to share it with our membership. A Memorial Service was held at the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC on January 28, 2017.
