Recurring Virtual SWIU Series: Advancing Women in Urology Webinars

SWIU has previously announced a virtual series “Advancing Women in Urology” that was inaugurated in April 2023. This is an online program dedicated to the professional development and career advancement of women urologists and urologic researchers through education, advocacy, and mentorship focusing on surgical practice, professional development, and questions and interaction from participants. Initial events included “Quieting your Inner Critic”, Managing Menopause and upcoming events will include Managing Finance as Women in Urology, Pursuing Promotions, and other content of interest to the membership that has been developed by the SWIU BOD. Work products might include developing a schedule, identifying diverse speakers, working with SWIU management to market events and hosting.
