Research Surveys

Apply to Survey SWIU Members For Research

SWIU will consider requests for distribution of research surveys to its members on a quarterly basis. Only surveys that support the mission of SWIU will be considered.

Please complete the following form to request distribution of your research survey to the SWIU membership. A nominal fee of $100 will be applied to all applications to cover administrative costs associated with application review and survey distribution. These fees are non-refundable. The SWIU executive office will reach out for payment upon receipt of your survey application.

To minimize the burden on our members, SWIU will select up to four (4) surveys for distribution every quarter. If a survey is not selected for distribution, the applicant will be given the option to resubmit the survey for consideration for the following quarter, without additional fees. There will be one reminder email sent per survey distribution, which will cover all surveys for that cycle.

Application cycle due dates: Jan 31, Apr 30, July 31, and Oct 31

Applicants will be informed of committee decisions within 4 weeks of the respective due date.

Requirements

  • At least one investigator must be a SWIU member in good standing.
  • The applicant(s) must notify SWIU when results obtained from the survey are presented at an institutional, regional, national, or international academic meeting and/or published.
  • The applicant(s) must update SWIU on the outcomes of the survey within one year of survey completion.
