2019 marked the beginning of the SWIU-Intuitive Robotic Research Scholarship, which provides $50,000 to support the research endeavors in the area of robotic surgery to a SWIU member during her fellowship.

We are proud to announce that this year's SWIU-Intuitive Robotic Research Scholarship was awarded to Geolani Dy, MD from NYU Urology Associates.

Dr. Dy is currently focused on creating patient reported outcome measures for genital gender confirming surgery, and on improving urologic provider education in healthcare needs of gender diverse individuals.
