General Urology — Stanford Medicine
The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a general urologist to join the Department faculty in the Clinician Educator Line to support the Stanford Medicine clinical outreach program. Applicants are expected to be comfortable with all aspects of general adult office urology and the breadth of basic endoscopic, open and selected robotic urologic procedures. While not required, prior practice experience is a plus. The practice will be primarily based at outpatient facilities in Emeryville and/or Pleasanton, California. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The criteria for appointment for Clinician Educators are excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. While not required, Clinician Educators are also encouraged to participate in scholarly activities.
